Artist's Comments
This is Angelo and Jessica, two characters of Akira Toriyama's design for the PS2 video game Dragonquest VIII (8). (Angelo's original Japanese name is Kukule BTW) Although these two never really "hook up" in the game, there's still some sort of romantic sparks flying between them. I have to give credit to my husband, who inspired me to try video game fanart. I also must send out a special 'thank you' to his brother Josef who built me a make-shift lighting board that helped me copy this from pencil sketch to final inking.

P.S. - I'm going to take a stab at drawing and coloring Empyrea's son at some point in the near future too. Alot of it is "guesstimating" because (like you said) you can barely see him in the game. Bet he's a cute little bugger though. I love his voice. He sounds like my little brother. hehe
